For the first time in the modern HD era, Rockstar isn’t building an open world around a single isolated city surrounded by empty desert. The State of Leonida is a multi-county peninsula where urban skyscrapers, tropical coral reefs, mangrove wetlands, industrial refineries, and northern mountain canyons flow seamlessly into one another. You can jump directly to any of these six sectors on our Interactive State of Leonida Map.

Region-by-Region Tactical Breakdown
1. Vice City ("Still the Sun and Fun Capital of America")
Glamorous, hustling, and relentless: Vice City has expanded far beyond its 1986 roots. From the pastel Art Deco hotels and white sands of Ocean Beach to the lively panaderias of Little Cuba, the knock-off markets of the Tisha-Wocka Flea Market, and the colossal cranes of Vice Port, every neighborhood has its own vehicle meta and gang presence.
2. The Leonida Keys ("Life in this tropical archipelago isn’t flashy, it’s easy")
Connected to the mainland by sweeping Overseas Highway bridges, the southern island chain is where Jason Duval begins the campaign working for veteran smuggler Brian Heder. Yet its turquoise waters are also some of the most dangerous in America—patrolled by Coast Guard interceptors, reef sharks, and rival contraband crews.
3. The Grassrivers ("You never know what lies beneath the surface")
Separating the east and west coasts of southern Leonida is an immense wetland expanse. While alligators are the most famous attraction, far deadlier predators and off-grid criminal discoveries hide deep beneath the mangrove canopies. High-powered Nagasaki Airboats are essential for navigating its shallow mud flats.
4. Port Gellhorn ("A new economy fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks")
Once a bustling vacation spot on Leonida’s western coast, Port Gellhorn is now lined with shuttered attractions, cheap motels, and pawn shops. It serves as Lucia and Jason’s early-game stomping ground—housing Hank’s Waffles Diner and dozens of quick-cash robbery targets.
5. Ambrosia ("American industry and old school values—whatever the cost")
In the industrial heart of Leonida, the massive Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs while the Final Chapter MC outlaw biker gang provides almost everything else. Expect heavy highway ambushes and high-value contraband convoys.
6. Mount Kalaga National Park ("Up against the state’s northern border")
For players who loved the wilderness of Red Dead Redemption 2, Mount Kalaga delivers dense pine forests, steep canyon dirt-bike trails, whitewater kayaking, and remote survivalist compounds where anti-government hillbillies hide from federal eyes.
